According to many sources, Bill’s film THE MIST where he played the part of Jim Grondin, will be getting the full 4K/Bluray treatment. The release date for this new remastered version is slated for 03 October, 2023. The alternate black and white version will also be included in the release. I’ve seen both and the black and white version is definitely creepier than the colour version. No matter though, the film is one of the most unsettling films I’ve seen in a long time. The Mist 4K HD Blu-ray release date
The 4K HD, Blu-ray, and digital release date is October 3, 2023, for the suggested retail price of $34.99. The Best Buy Exclusive 4K HD, Blu-ray, and digital release will be for the suggested retail price of $37.99.
An alternate black and white version is included. It also features an audio commentary with writer-director Frank Darabont and producer Denise Huth. The Blu-ray features:
- Deleted scenes with optional commentary by Frank Darabont
- A conversation with Stephen King and Frank Darabont
- Over 2 hours of total bonus material
