William has also become a staple in episodic television including as Sheriff Jim Valenti in the CW's ROSWELL and in HOMELAND, POWER, BERLIN STATION, THE COMEY RULE and lends his voice to the Comedy channel's OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT. William also has an extensive career on the stage in such productions as JULIUS CAESAR, 24 HOUR PLAYS, EXIT THE KING and many more. “The Mist” To Get the 4K/Bluray Treatment

According to many sources, Bill’s film THE MIST where he played the part of Jim Grondin, will be getting the full 4K/Bluray treatment. The release date for this new remastered version is slated for 03 October, 2023. The alternate black and white version will also be included in the release. I’ve seen both and the black and white version is definitely creepier than the colour version. No matter though, the film is one of the most unsettling films I’ve seen in a long time. The specs and box art below.

The Mist 4K HD Blu-ray release date

The 4K HD, Blu-ray, and digital release date is October 3, 2023, for the suggested retail price of $34.99. The Best Buy Exclusive 4K HD, Blu-ray, and digital release will be for the suggested retail price of $37.99.

An alternate black and white version is included. It also features an audio commentary with writer-director Frank Darabont and producer Denise Huth. The Blu-ray features:

  • Deleted scenes with optional commentary by Frank Darabont
  • A conversation with Stephen King and Frank Darabont
  • Over 2 hours of total bonus material

Finally, back at adding Bill’s ROSWELL episodes. Sorry it’s taken me so long, but…well….stuff. In the aftermath of finding out the kids’ secret identity, Sheriff Valenti has gone from foe to friend/protector. In season two he’s in a race to protect them from the authorities finding out their secret. I loved the scene in episodes two, Ask Not, when Jim welcomed Kyle (Nick Wechsler) from football camp where he’s embraced a Buddhist philosophy. I loved the rapport between Bill and Nick. So cute.

The last of Bill’s DS9 episodes. Here Julian Bashir (Alexander Siddig), and Chief Miles O’Brien (Colm Meaney) seek to find out the cure for a Dominion disease that has infected Odo (Rene Auberjonois.) To do this they must travel inside Sloan’s mind to find his secrets. A great cat-and-mouse episode for Sloan, Bashir, and O’Brien. It should be noted here that Bill and Colm also starred in DIE HARD 2: DIE HARDER. Bill of course played Colonel Stuart, and Colm the part of the British Airways plane pilot whose plane Stuart causes to crash.

“Star Trek – Deep Space Nine” – E7X16 – Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges HD Screencaps

The next of Bill’s DS9 episodes. This time from season seven. The episode is titled Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges which is Latin for “For among arms, the laws are silent.” In this episode Captain Sisko (Avery Brooks) asks Julian Bashir (Alexander Siddig) to go under cover within Section 31. Another amazing episode with Bill playing Sloan to strategic perfection.
