Welcome to WILLIAM SADLER ONLINE @ williamsadler.org a website dedicated to American actor William Sadler. Best known for his various roles in differing projects, William has played everything from an anarchist military man in DIE HARD 2: DIE HARDER to a fireman seeking gold in TRESPASS, to a convict in THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, a soldier for God in TALES FROM THE CRYPT: DEMON KNIGHT, and a member of a secret organization inside The Federation in DEEP SPACE NINE. But his most 'infamous' role has been as the Grim Reaper/Death in BILL & TED'S BOGUS JOURNEY, AND BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC. William has many other film credits to his name including THE MIST, THE HOT SPOT, RUSH, THE GREEN MILE, KINSEY and many more. William has also become a staple in episodic television including as Sheriff Jim Valenti in the CW's ROSWELL and in HOMELAND, POWER, BERLIN STATION, THE COMEY RULE and lends his voice to the Comedy channel's OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT. William also has an extensive career on the stage in such productions as JULIUS CAESAR, 24 HOUR PLAYS, EXIT THE KING and many more. Bill guest starred on two episodes of the CBS cop drama BLUE BLOODS playing the part of Armin Janko, the father of one of the main characters. Janko was based to a small degree on Bernie Madoff given Janko was ‘inside’, as it were for running ponze schemes and insider trading. And once again Bill is wearing orange.
This time I have the hd screencaps and posters for Bill’s film ALICE FADES AWAY. This film came out in early 2021. Bill is just astounding in this film. His role of James is very complicated and his few scenes are riveting. I’m not going to give the plot away, though when I set up the filmography section you’ll likely know. There’s a bit of a hitch though, in the final credits they get Bill’s title credit correct with William Sadler, but in the cast roll up, they have William SALder. Big time noogie right there.

Here are the screencaps from Bill’s gust role on CRIMINAL MINDS. This episode was in 2009 and the episode was titled Reckoner, and Bill played the part of shady Ray Finnegan, another of Bill’s baddies. I have to say Bill looked utterly handsome in this. The white shirt and the jacket ensemble, definitely the epitome of the sharp dressed man.

According to the website Bloody Disgusting is reporting Bill’s film THE UNHOLY will be coming to home media this summer. Box art included below. No word yet on any extras. Here’s hoping there are a lot with Bill. Box art is included below.
Sam Raimi-Produced ‘The Unholy’ Gets a Home Release This Summer
From producer Sam Raimi (Crawl, Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead) and his Ghost House Pictures comes the supernatural The Unholy, which Meagan Navarro called “sinfully bland religious horror.”
After a theatrical run this past spring, The Unholy is making its way to Digital HD on May 25th before arriving on all VOD platforms, DVD and Blu-ray June 22nd.
There are no special features as of this writing.
Evan Spiliotopoulos wrote/directed The Unholy, which has a cast including “The Walking Dead’s” Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Katie Aselton, William Sadler (Demon Knight, Bogus Journey), Cricket Brown, Diogo Morgado and SAW‘s Cary Elwes.
“The Unholy follows Alice, a young hearing-impaired girl who, after a supposed visitation from the Virgin Mary, is inexplicably able to hear, speak and heal the sick. As word spreads and people from near and far flock to witness her miracles, a disgraced journalist (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) hoping to revive his career visits the small New England town to investigate. When terrifying events begin to happen all around, he starts to question if these phenomena are the works of the Virgin Mary or something much more sinister.”
The film is based on James Herbert’s novel Shrine, published in 1983.
