“Full Circle” HD Screencaps Omnibus

Bill was off last year filming a limited series for HBO called FULL CIRCLE. In this his character, Gene McCusker, was involved in inter-family politics as he comes to terms with something between he and his brother, Jeff (Denis Quaid.) The series was really good and had one guessing till the last scene in the last episode. The series also starred Timothy Olyphant, Clare Danes (Bill guest starred on Danes’ former series HOMELAND), Suzanne Savoy, and CCH Pounder. Remember Pounder was in DEMON KNIGHT playing Irene, the owner of the boarding house where Bill’s character, Brayker, went to rest. Bill and CCH didn’t have any scenes together, which was kind of a bummer. Would have loved to have seen them together again.

“The Mist” To Get the 4K/Bluray Treatment

According to many sources, Bill’s film THE MIST where he played the part of Jim Grondin, will be getting the full 4K/Bluray treatment. The release date for this new remastered version is slated for 03 October, 2023. The alternate black and white version will also be included in the release. I’ve seen both and the black and white version is definitely creepier than the colour version. No matter though, the film is one of the most unsettling films I’ve seen in a long time. The specs and box art below.

The Mist 4K HD Blu-ray release date

The 4K HD, Blu-ray, and digital release date is October 3, 2023, for the suggested retail price of $34.99. The Best Buy Exclusive 4K HD, Blu-ray, and digital release will be for the suggested retail price of $37.99.

An alternate black and white version is included. It also features an audio commentary with writer-director Frank Darabont and producer Denise Huth. The Blu-ray features:

  • Deleted scenes with optional commentary by Frank Darabont
  • A conversation with Stephen King and Frank Darabont
  • Over 2 hours of total bonus material

“From legendary frightmaster Stephen King and Academy Award nominated writer-producer-director Frank Darabont comes one of the most tense and terrifying films since The Shining,” reads the official synopsis. “After a mysterious mist envelops a small New England town, a group of locals trapped in a supermarket must battle a siege of otherworldly creatures . . . and the fears that threaten to tear them apart.”

The last of Bill’s DS9 episodes. Here Julian Bashir (Alexander Siddig), and Chief Miles O’Brien (Colm Meaney) seek to find out the cure for a Dominion disease that has infected Odo (Rene Auberjonois.) To do this they must travel inside Sloan’s mind to find his secrets. A great cat-and-mouse episode for Sloan, Bashir, and O’Brien. It should be noted here that Bill and Colm also starred in DIE HARD 2: DIE HARDER. Bill of course played Colonel Stuart, and Colm the part of the British Airways plane pilot whose plane Stuart causes to crash.

Third post for the night. Gee it’s good to be back….. We have a trailer for Bill’s upcoming horror film SHE CAME FROM THE WOODS where he plays the part of Gilbert McCalister. Enjoy.

She Came From The Woods Trailer Confirms That Summer Camp Is Still a Murderous Affair

The horror genre is no stranger to films set at a summer camp where people inevitably end up dying in a myriad of horrible ways. She Came From The Woods is the latest example of this trope, and one that seems to be doubling down on it given it takes place in 1987, which was a time rife with summer camp killers.

Summer is almost over a Camp Briarbrook! And that means it’s time to shotgun some beers around the campfire while you accidentally invoke a decades-old evil that lives in the surrounding woods. That evil (apparently in female form, given the title) then starts murdering campers and their counselors. Does she do so on her own, or does she possess people? The trailer isn’t clear on that front, though it is clear that many people get murdered in various bloody ways.

I’m not one to judge a movie by its trailer, but if I’m being honest, this trailer makes the movie not seem particularly good, not least because I can’t tell if this is supposed to be a horror comedy or a serious slasher or something else entirely. I could be wrong, however, and this film could be the next Oscar contender. You never know!

If you want to decide for yourself, you can check out She Came From The Woods starring Cara Buono (Stranger Things) and William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption) when it slays its way into theaters on February 10, 2023.

Good news. We’re back on the web. It seems the issues were the depleted server on the other host. Now we’re on the new host, good things are happening. The gallery is also back and stable. Thank you for sticking with me and for your understanding. I’m making this post from the stable site. Now it’s back to business as usual. I’ll have some more things to say in the coming days. To celebrate our grand return, the featured image is of Bill from the 1992 film TRESPASS where he played the part of Don Perry. The film was directed by Walter Hill, and also starred the late great Bill Paxton (Vince), Ice-T (King James), Ice Cube (Savon), and Art Evans (Bradlee).
